How Axiom accounts work
Axiom accounts (for parents, teachers, students, and staff) are created and managed by your school — there is no self-service sign-up inside the app. Because of that, an account deletion request needs to be verified against your school’s records before it’s carried out, rather than being an automatic in-app action.
How to request deletion
You can request deletion of your Axiom account and associated personal data in either of these ways:
- Contact your school's administration and ask them to remove your Axiom account — this is usually the fastest route, since the school can verify your identity and process the request directly.
- Email us directly at servicetech@functionxtechnologies.com with your full name, the name of your school, and your role (parent, teacher, student, or staff). We will verify the request with your school and process it on your behalf.
What gets deleted
Your login credentials, profile information, and personal account access are removed. Photos or documents you personally uploaded (e.g. as a message attachment) are deleted from active storage.
What may be retained
Schools are generally required to retain certain academic, attendance, and financial records for a minimum period under applicable education record-keeping regulations. Where that applies, your school retains those specific records after your personal Axiom account access is removed — Axiom does not independently decide this; it follows the retention your school is legally required to maintain. If you have questions about what your specific school retains, your school administration can tell you.
Timeframe
We process verified deletion requests promptly, typically within 30 days.
